doin's and fidlin's

Well as usual I'm trying to do too much all at once, and my sewing machine is being rather moody so I thought I would spend some time in cyber space. Actually the computer was free, I pounced. Here are some recent doin's and fidlin's.

First of all I finished my trousers. They are really warm, just what is needed in these arctic conditions.

Second, I finished a fox necklace which was requested after the first one sold at the xmas fair.

and because it will probably never be finished, I though I would show the work in progress of my cross-stitch odyssey:

Lastly, I nearly went to the Hayward to see this exhibition yesterday:

Good job I didn't, it doesn't open till March. So that is my pick for March!

Oh, wow, such beautiful work... those pants are fantastic, really nice fit. And I love the detail of the necklace.
I think its good to have a long term project, doesn;t matter if it takes you forever to finish the cross-stitch. my favourite quote re: sewing, I forget who said it- is "It's your hobby, what's your hurry?" :o)
